of my artwork in Nina Johansson's book "Multitudes.
A bit of zen like freedom...
...and a bit of the ancient southwest desert...
a step back in time to one of the first art exchanges ever! LOL :)
An artistic array of marks, colors, styles, and charm
fills Nina's little Maruman
"Multitude."
I don't want to let her go...
as that will finalize of my portion of our Maruman exchange.
But professionalism calls...and Multitude flies again.
I now will wait like the rest of our faithful fans
until
the last three books cross the deep blues seas
and safely arrive home.

These are fantastic! What is this Maruman thing? I've looked at all the gorgeous images, but don't see an explanation of how this journal exchange works.
But WOW!
BTW - i've added your blog to my faves.
bmoon...A "Maruman" is a particular brand name for a double sided "Japanese fold" watercolor sketchbook. Japanese fold means accordian like. It has 20 pages on one side and 20 pages on the other...Ours is being rotated between 4 artistas in an international exchange...Here is the link for the main blog where you can go back to the beginning and see how the books have developed. http://marumanx.blogspot.com/
Enjoy! :)
wonderful!! a journal exchange sounds like a lot of fun.
Thanks Sharon...It was a tremendous amount of fun and a whole lot of imaginative growth too! :)
I couldn't enlarge the first photo but could the others. These look soooo nice.
Thanks, Freebird...So glad you liked them!
Sorry all about the enlargement problem on the first image...I scanned and uploaded each of the images the same way...Anyone have any idea how to solve this?
I love these.
Thanks Ricardo...they were great fun to do! :)
I've only just discovered this - what a beautiful series of images :>)
These are so awesome! Oh how fun, I would love to do something like this one day... Everyone's work is just amazing! Marva
Hi there, the only way to solve the problem with the first photo not opening up is to delete it from the post and re-load it. It happens from timte to time - don't know why, but that's how to fix it :)
Diane
Love the work!
